The content
Everything here is general information for a general audience. It is not professional advice, and it is not tailored to your household, your health, your building or your local law. See the preparedness disclaimer, which is part of these terms.
Acceptable use
You may read, print and share this material, including for classes and community groups. You may not:
- Scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for other readers.
- Republish articles wholesale. Quote a paragraph and link back instead.
- Attempt to access the administration area, or probe for vulnerabilities without asking first.
- Use the newsletter signup with an address that is not yours.
We rate limit every endpoint and block addresses that abuse them. If you are doing security research and want to test something, write to us first and we will almost certainly say yes.
External links
The resource library exists to send you elsewhere. We check those links on a schedule, but we do not control what other sites publish and we are not responsible for their content, their privacy practices or their accuracy.
Intellectual property
Article text, annotations and the design are ours. Cited material belongs to whoever published it. Government publications we link to are generally public domain, which is one reason we lean on them so heavily.
No warranty and limitation of liability
The site is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, OutpostCore is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or from anything you do based on what you read here.
Changes
These terms can change. The date at the top says when they last did.
